Ticketmaster may be a cheap source for tickets but everyone knows it can sometimes
be near impossible to score those great seats! Here's a few tips:
- Load Ticketmaster in multiple browsers (ie. Internet Explorer and Firefox) but
not more than one window or tab per type of browser (or risk encountering errors!).
- Log into your account ahead of time and make sure your billing information is up
to date and your address on file matches the billing address on your credit card
exactly.
- When waiting for an event to go on-sale, do not refresh more than once every four
or five seconds - doing so will get you temporarily blocked and you may not be able
to search for tickets at the earliest opportunity.
- The best tickets do not always come up first so if you aren't happy with the first
set of tickets you see it may be wise to keep searching but you would risk that
nothing better will come up.
- Give it a shot and hope for the best. If the tickets you want can't be bought
on Ticketmaster, see if tickets are available from a premium
Ticket Broker.
